The history of the company dates back to 1900, when the block peat, was utilized as combustible.
In 1932 some businessmen from the town of Dolyna started to produce insulating plates out of peat moss, and peat litters. Peat for litters has been pressed into bales, and set off to Poland, Denmark, and Holland.
In 1948 mining of peat with the help of machines is initiated: dredgez-elevator machine, general-purpose peat steam excavator, general-purpose peat excavator diesel, peat-pave machine diesel.
In 1958, mining of milling peat by a complex of machines is initiated: agi-tator milling, roller general-purpose milling, peat-assembling machine, and pil-lar.
In 1996, the company from a state pattern of ownership becomes an open joint-stock corporation.
In 1997-99`s production of baled peat moss in bales on 3,5-4,0 m3 and bags on 300 liters is adjusted. At the same time producing of the packed peat black and peat moss from 5 up to 80 liters is initiated, as well as mining of sod peat and peat substrate on the basis of black and moss peat. Presently the company experienced a certain rate of increase of quality of our production, improvement of packing design, expansion of marketing. New kinds of production are developed. The company begins to deliver peat to the external market. With the purpose of development of the market of selling in Eastern Europe the company creates a joint Ukrainian-Slovak enterprise "Ukrslovtorf". The cooperation of the company with the Swedish firm "MASTERS MEDERNA" is adjusted. It resulted in the establishment of a line on sifting peat and baling it in bales BIG BALE.
In 1998, the company masters release of piecewise peat as fuel for public utilities.
1999 - the company directs its intellectual and technical resources to the development of new kinds of packing peat. It resulted in manufacturing baling of peat in 300-L bags and packing peat moss on 5-L, 8-L, 20-L, 40-L, and 80-L polyethylene packages of black peat and white peat. At the same time new markets in Ukraine and Eastern Europe develop. The consumers' demand for peat and the production on its basis is examined. This work resulted in the development of release of block white peat and substrate on basis of black and white peat.
In 2000 a modern plant on making substratum at 50000 m3 per year was bulit based on Pid Borom mine. The plant is equiped with with supplies from Chezh compnay Afros and Italian B&C.
